Exclusive Statement from actress Emma Byrne on her new ethical clothing brand
"I've been a vegan for a few years now and one of the things I come across a lot, especially within my line of work, is vegans and vegetarians claiming the need to do their parts to keep animals safe, but they still continue to wear real leather jackets and boots and other items of clothing that are not vegan friendly. I am aware that it can be difficult to find ethical clothing and sometimes labelling can be unclear. So I have decided that the best way to provide vegetarians and vegans with ethical clothing was just to create my own line. So that's what I've done!
However, I'm not just targeting vegetarians and vegans I'm also hoping to raise awareness about animal testing and abuse and to encourage others to at least dress ethically even if they don't want to give up eating animals and animal products.
I have a clear vision of what I want to achieve and I'm determined to make it happen and raise awareness and funds to help as many animals as I can.
So I've decided that 50% of the profits are going to be donated to animal charities and the other 50% are going back into the line to help me continue providing ethical clothing.
If you want to support my more than worthy cause, my first shop is opening in Oxford Street in January 2019.
Please continue to visit the INSPIRARE website for more information and updates to be released soon. Thank you for all the support I've received so far."
